It all starts with a chat.  It is your family, your life and story...and beautifully unique in its own way.  Share with us what makes you you and what your hopes are for our time together. Upon selection of your session date and time, you will receive an email and invoice for session fee.  Once confirmed the real fun begins!  We will walk you through the details of coordinating the look and feel of your experience. If you have never had a photo or video session before--its going to be incredibly easier and more fun than you possibly imagine...we promise!

Image and film sessions are the most popular therefore these book up pretty quickly, and can fill up as far out 6-8 weeks in advance particularly for weekend date requests.  For photography sessions only, there is generally more flexibility and usually book about 3-6 weeks in advance, depending on season. We accept a very limited amount of  "Day in the life" and Birth sessions per year, so these book out sometimes a year in advance.

Most family sessions take place in-home or on location surrounding an activity.  Newborn and birth session can take place in-home or hospital.  Portrait sessions can take place in-studio, at home, office or on location.  We love coordinating the look, feel and vision around sessions to document your life and story so once we discuss your vision we will recommend the best location and time for your experience.

You would be amazed at what can be accomplished in a small space and surrounding property.  The focus of sessions is the love and connection you have for one another during everyday moments, so regardless of the surrounding the images we produce only show the joy and fun you share.  However, if you would prefer to make this an adventure we can explore rental options, vacation or other carefree environmental location. 

The session fee or creative fee includes consultation, coordination, session, reveal appointment and compensates your photographer for time and talent.  

Absolutely! When it comes to wardrobe...we have you covered! (see what we did there?) he he   During the coordination process of your session we will provide you with a "what to wear" guide and discuss wardrobe options for you and/or your family.   For in home sessions most families opt to go with everyday wear, casual, comfy and cozy...often barefoot and a bit messy.  For clients that would like help purchasing new outfits, we will refer you to a professional stylist to help you make choices to make it easy on you and to achieve the look you are after in more styled portraits.  Our studio also offers a wardrobe closet for women that desire a more whimsical and or artistic fine art session.  

Never, there is no minimum purchase required, and there is never any pressure to buy...only invest in what you love and want.  Orders are placed during your reveal appointment approximately 1-2 weeks post session. At this time you will have an opportunity to sample products and view images, fine art prints, albums, wall art, films and heirlooms pieces from an a la carte menu or in collections.
