Honored to Be a Finalist in the Shoot & Share Competition
I feel so lucky to do what I love every day, capturing the beautiful stories of my clients. The gift of documenting people's lives is a blessing, and I'm reminded of that every year by the amazing Shoot & Share photography competition.
Shoot & Share is an annual contest where photographers from over 121 countries submit their best work. What makes it so unique is that every entry is voted on anonymously by our peers. It's not about big names or professional status; it's simply about the power of an image.
I'm a numbers person, and the statistics from this competition are mind-blowing! Last year, roughly 74,000 photographers participated, submitting over 110,000 images. A staggering 23 million votes were cast! This year blew those numbers out of the water with over 225,000 images submitted and almost 30 million votes cast. To rank as a finalist is a huge honor, as it means your work has been recognized among the very best in the world. In the final round, you're looking at the top 3.5% of all photographs entered!
I am so grateful for the opportunity to participate and incredibly proud to share the life stories of my clients on this global stage. It's a huge compliment to have my work recognized, and it’s a beautiful testament to the genuine emotion and connection that my clients share.
