I've always been incredibly sentimental about weddings and all things old....this sweet vintage wedding gave me more than a heart full of delight! So you can imagine how excited I was that sweet Casey and handsome Drake allowed me the privilege of being witness to their intimate and incredibly touching wedding celebration at one of the most awesome local backdrops in orange county.

The Old Orange County Courthouse is Southern California's oldest court building and has been witness to many of the events which shaped present-day Orange County. From its dedication in 1901, this granite and sandstone building has been the traditional home of county government, now its beautiful halls and historical check bones offer a great time capsule of interesting history and of course a warm home for intimate weddings like Drake and Casey's.

I think that part of the reason I love all things old (yes even grumpy old grandpas) is that with them come stories....and love stories are my favorite. Can you imagine how many love stories started in this old courthouse? 

Speaking of which when I asked Drake when he knew he would marry Casey he said "The moment she came to my house the first time! I knew right when I saw her that she was the one and I was going to marry her! I used to tell her all the time that she was stuck with me for the rest of her life!!!!" How incredibly amazing is that!!! I guess love, at first sight, does exist!

Drake also shared with me when I ask him what he loved most about Casey.... "the thing I love most about Casey?... there are way too many to think of, I love her blue eyes and her smile that brightens up a room but most of all I love how big her heart is! She is the most caring loving person I have ever met."

Drake, you are such an adorable sweetheart! An absolute keeper you are! I'm so glad that both you and Casey found each other :)

When I asked Casey what this day meant to her she said "Yesterday meant promising my best friend all my love and support for the rest of our lives. I felt that we completed our family yesterday and now we just have to wait patiently for Grayson's arrival! I feel so much comfort in knowing I have a partner from here on out in everything I may face. And the funniest thing I love about Drake is his "fantastic" singing voice and awesome car dance moves.

And...he always knows how to keep me calm, feel adored, and let me know everything is going to be okay. I'm easily stressed about things and he teaches me to relax and trust that we will work it out together. He somehow always knows what to say and how to make me feel like the most loved and beautiful woman in the world. I know that sounds cliche but I'm not just saying that. He makes sure I'm feeling the love and getting compliments all day every day.

WOW! Casey what a beautiful love the two of you share. I'm so very excited for the two of you and I too can't wait for the arrival of your baby Grayson.
